The answer is absolutely not! Although we do not use isolation transformers, instead state of the art electronics is all we need to isolate DC power. The lead will still function fine and has been tested to withstand a huge 88VDC and still function without audio interferance or failure!
No it doesn't! We use a specific array of components and using the formular fc=1/2πRC to provide an isolation that only effects inaudible frequencies. These frequencies are in the Mhz range, therefore providing a protection to the device with a perfect audio representation on playback.
