Frequently Asked Questions

The answer is absolutely not! Although we do not use isolation transformers, instead state of the art electronics is all we need to isolate DC power. The lead will still function fine and has been tested to withstand a huge 88VDC and still function without audio interferance or failure!

No it doesn't! We use a specific array of components and using the formular  fc=1/2πRC to provide an isolation that only effects inaudible frequencies. These frequencies are in the Mhz range, therefore providing a protection to the device with a perfect audio representation on playback.

An Audio interface gives one the ability to record or play with a Computer, Tablet or Smart Phone. It converts the audio from analogue to digital information, allowing a digital device to process and/or record the audio.

A DAC is a term used to describe a digital device and what it does. DAC stands for Digital Analogue Converter. This would describe an output device that converts the digital data to an analogue signal. This  allows you to hear the audio through your headphones or speakers.

Class Compliant describes the functionality of a device. Where computers and devices usually use drivers, which allows a device to communicate via a digital handshake where it recognises and identifies how to operate the connected equipment. Thus class compliant devices can achieve this handshake without the installation of drivers, creating a seamless transition of use.
